What's New

We have been involved for several years in trying to successfully grow blueberries on the Kenai Peninsula. In 2008, the USDA approached us and offered an opportunity to participate in a Blueberry Research Project on our farm. We are happy to announce that we have several cultivars that are thriving. Recent Events

We participated in the annual Kenai Arts and Crafts Fair held the weekend after Thanksgiving. We had a great time and saw many familiar faces and met many new ones. Our jams and syrups were a hit again this year. Many customers stated this is the best jam they ever had. We will be back again next year.

Welcome to Alaska Berries. Our farm is located on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula, between Kenai and Soldotna off K-Beach road. We grow a large variety of berries, which you can investigate further at our "Online Store" link to your left. With more people wishing to purchase healthier, locally grown products, we have expanded our fruit operation. We offer proven Alaska hardy plants, fresh and frozen fruit, and numerous berry products. If you are looking for farm fresh products, you have come to the right place. Please browse through our offerings at our online store. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Our jams and syrups are made from the fruit we grow on our farm. We do not purchase fruit from the stores or from any other sources. There is absolutely no question where we get our fruit. You can see by visiting our farm, we take great pride in providing a complete chain of control from planting and care, through final handling of all our products. We only use natural ingredients --- the fruit, American produced natural cane sugar, natural fruit pectin and lemon juice. We do NOT use any corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, preservatives or any other modifiers. Our fruit is picked during the peak of ripeness and we only use top quality fruit in all our products. Since the entire process takes place on our farm, we have complete control over everything and insure harvesting and processing by the most hygienic and sanitary means possible. This provides our customers with only top quality products.

We are the only State of Alaska DEC approved and licensed facility for jam, jellies, and syrups in the State that grows all its own fruit.

Our berry plants are proven hardy for Alaska. We only sell varieties that we know will work in Alaska. When you purchase plants from us, we will provide you with all of the information you need to insure a successful planting. You can see all of our plant offerings in the online store.

Our Online Store is open year round. Our farm stand is only open during the spring and summer, two days a week, Wednesday AND Saturday from 11am-5pm. Spring opening will be announced here and through the newsletter.
